Easter food drive on at university

DURHAM -- Non-perishable food, food vouchers, hygiene products and donations of money are all acceptable items for the Campus Food Centre Easter Food Drive at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology.

The Campus Food Centre gives confidential service to students in need, including short-term emergency food, distribution of food hampers, advocacy for student food security, and referrals to other resources that can help needy students.

Drop boxes on the UOIT campus will receive donations until March 31. The centre is at UL100 in the service centre behind the campus library. For more information, call the centre at 905-721-8668, ext. 3676.
