Good Friday goes bad for Oshawa man

PETERBOROUGH – Good Friday went bad for an Oshawa man who now finds himself at odds with the law after Peterborough police found someone urinating on a business in the downtown.
Things went from bad to worse when, shortly after he was arrested and taken to Peterborough’s police station, the man became aggressive, overturning furniture in the room and breaking the thermostat off the wall. Problems escalated when the man was taken to a cell where he caused further damage
Wayne Rankine, 32, of Thomas Street in Oshawa, was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and now faces additional charges of mischief. He will appear in court today.
