Re: 'MPs not representing us', Nancy and Richard Addington letter, Feb 4.
I read with great interest this letter. I do make opposition to the letter in that Stephen Harper is indeed the elected prime minister of this country. As much as I do not like most of the things that the Conservative government does, it is in power right now and we should respect them as it is. I do not like the prorogation of Parliament but what can we do at this time? The governor general has a lot to do with this and her office should be an elected one. Most of the people of this country could not foresee the prorogation of Parliament so what can we do other than to vote the Conservatives out and the Liberals back in with a majority?
