To the editor:
With the Christmas season over I would just like to thank all those wonderful people both young and old who contribute to the food bank and Christmas hampers.
Unfortunately, due to difficult times it seemed my grandchildren would not have a Christmas this year. Then, through the kindness of a community, Santa came through, not only for them but for so many more.
To see the generous donation of toys, food and even gift cards brought tears to our eyes and such a feeling of gratitude.
Thank you so much to all those generous hearts. We give sometimes without thought to those who receive.
I just want you to know it means so much to so many. The smile on a child's face is proof to you all that Santa does exist.
