OSHAWA --The Gemini Gymnastics athletes demonstrated their girl power with top scores during the recent annual Reach for the Sky Invitational Gymnastic Meet.
More than 400 athletes from 24 clubs across Ontario participated at the Gemini Gymnastics three-day event themed 'Girl Power'.
Once again, Gemini gymnasts were proud recipients of many medals, ribbons and Judge's recognition awards. Four gold scores were achieved by Gemini's seven-and-eight-year-olds who competed in the Ontario Competitive Program (OCP). Gemini athletes (ages 9+) captured seven first place finishes and 21 Special Recognition Awards.
In addition, Gemini's ODP (Ontario Development Program) athletes Sophie Gurdon, Anne-Marie Padurariu, Kristen Sheridan, Madisun Storey, Paulina Vedenin, Catherine Vinkovic, and Kaitlyn White all put in a fine performance.
