PICKERING -- A teenager was sexually assaulted while walking home late Tuesday night.
The 19-year-old woman was on Liverpool Road north of Kingston Road around 11:45 p.m. June 24, when a man started walking behind her, says a Durham Regional Police report.
He ran up to her and struck up a brief conversation before grabbing her by the waist, putting his hand over her mouth, and leading her to a secluded area near a building where he sexually assaulted her.
The man is described as white, unshaven with curly brown hair, in his early twenties, five-foot-five-inches to six-feet tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a grey-hooded sweatshirt and baggy jeans.
