Collection of ornament a waste of money

Dec 03, 2008 - 02:40 PM

To the editor:

Last Monday, I put out for garbage collection, two green bags, recyclable boxes and one plastic broken Christmas ornament. Guess what?

The regular collection left the ornament at the curb and later the recycle truck also left the item.

What am I to do Mayor John Gray? Obviously the only resort I have is to call City Hall for a special collection for the ornament with a considerable more costly expense to the taxpayer. Being a senior I don't even have to pay for it, except through my taxes. Mad? Certainly and disgusted with the waste of taxpayers money.
