To the editor:
I am a General Motors employee. I worked in the truck plant in Oshawa. I have been working for GM for 24 years.
I love the products we build. They are built with perfection and quality. General Motors does not have a high turnaround on employees. Most employees like myself have been working on the same job for 24 years or more. So the quality is precise. General Motors has the most hybrid models for 2009. We have won numerous awards for the best-quality car and truck of the year awards. I am proud to work for GM. And in these hard economic times GM and the Big Three need our support to keep jobs here in Canada.
R.S. McLaughlin would roll over in his grave if he could see GM Oshawa slowly slipping away.
