College and university will likely see more students

DURHAM -- When the number of jobs decreases, enrolment in post-secondary school usually increases, say local representatives. Both Durham College and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) are anticipating more applications for their fall programs, but for slightly different reasons. While more people will be looking to the college for re-training, more high school students will likely be eyeing up the university to ensure their future in the job market.
