PORT PERRY -- A pair of booze bandits recently boarded a Lake Scugog tour boat, making off with a quantity of alcohol before abandoning ship, say police.
According to Durham police, two men forced their way inside The Woodman, owned by Scugog Island Cruises, sometime overnight between June 14 and 15. The vessel is usually docked at the municipal pier, located at the eastern end of Queen Street in Port Perry's downtown core.
The suspects, say police, broke through a locked door and stole a quantity of liquor before fleeing.
Images of the two suspects show the two men inside the tour boat. Both are white males, about 5 feet 10 inches.
The first suspect has a heavy build and was wearing a light blue T-shirt with a black-and-white crest on the front and dark pants. The second suspect was wearing a blue jacket with a hood.
During the break-in, one of the suspects called the other John, say police.
