Clerk threatened Monday night

Oct 01, 2008 - 10:08 AM

PICKERING -- Durham Regional Police are hoping security camera photos will help them track down a man who threatened a gas station clerk with a knife in a Pickering robbery.

The robbery occurred at the Petro Canada station at Brock Road and Bayly Street just before midnight on Monday.

Cops say the man told the clerk he had AIDS and nothing to live for.

Investigators say he's about 30 years old and five-foot-10. He was wearing a light-coloured toque, dark jacket and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call the robbery unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.
