Police hunting suspects following break-in

Pair wanted in connection with beer theft

UXBRIDGE -- North Durham police are trying to identify two suspects caught on a surveillance camera when a cement block was thrown through the window of the Uxbridge Beer Store and two cases of beer stolen.

Police have released a fuzzy image showing two individuals at the store on Main Street North at 6:15 a.m. on Sunday, July 27. According to police, one suspect smashed the front window and the other kicked the glass away, went inside and grabbed two cases of Corona beer. Both ran northwest through the alley between the Beer Store and the adjacent convenience store, according to police.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call north Durham police at 905-579-1520 ext. 2674 or ext. 2696.
