Nov 21, 2008 - 03:06 PM
WHITBY -- Police are seeking help locating a Whitby teen who's been missing since late October. Melissa Lal, 16, of Foundry Lane in Whitby was last seen Oct. 24. The girl has gone missing before but not for this long, Durham police said. Investigators believe the girl -- she's five foot four and 110 pounds with a slender build, brown eyes and black hair -- may be in the Toronto area with friends. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 905-579-1520, ext. 1847.
