Lone bandit robs Ajax bank

AJAX -- Police are on the lookout for a lone bandit who robbed an Ajax bank on the weekend. Durham cops said a suspect walked up to a teller at the TD Canada Trust branch at 15 Westney Rd., around 9:30 Saturday morning and produced a holdup note. No weapon was seen and the suspect fled with cash. The suspect is a white man in his 30s, about six feet tall with a slim build. He wore prescription glasses, a black jacket, blue jeans and a beige hat.
