Durham has one more confirmed case of H1N1 virus

DURHAM -- Another case of the H1N1 flu virus has popped up in Durham Region but authorities have not yet released any information about the patient.

The number of incidents across the region now sits at nine, adding to the total of 119 cases in Ontario, involving 62 males and 57 females with an age range between one and 62.

Laboratory testing has confirmed that the H1N1 flu virus is consistent with the virus in Mexico and the United States. All of the cases to date have been considered mild.
