Two men charged in Scugog home invasion

SCUGOG -- Two men are facing charges after a man was attacked while playing video games in his home.

Durham Regional Police say on Aug. 10 two men made their way into a house on Carnegie Beach Road in Scugog where they found their victim playing video games with a friend. The men, one of whom was armed with a wooden paddle, confronted  the man who was then assaulted with the paddle before having his money stolen.

Charged with robbery and being unlawfully in a dwelling house are Beau Jolicoeur, 26, of Platten Boulevard in Scugog and Kenneth Farquhar, 23, of Balsam Street in Port Perry.

Mr. Farquhar is also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

As part of this investigation, Melanie Davis, 23, of Borelia Court in Port Perry is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
