AJAX-PICKERING -- Ajax and Pickering youth are invited to earn nine hours of community service hours by volunteering for The Youth Centre.

This project will run July 6 to 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. and will be based out of The Youth Centre (360 Bayly St. W., Ajax), however, the actual picnic on July 7 will take place at a local church.

The second project will have the same base and will involve supporting a number of community initiatives including health and wellness awareness campaigns, along with some teamwork and leadership training. This project will run July 20 to 22 from 1 to 4 p.m.

For each project, youth can earn nine community service hours. Pre-registration is required and enrolment is limited. For more information, or to register call The Youth Centre at 905-428-1212.
