Internet installer charged after flashing incidents

Oct 22, 2008 - 10:13 AM

SCUGOG -- Two reports of a man exposing himself have led to charges against a communications company installer working in Scugog.

Durham police received two separate reports on the afternoon of Oct. 2. In the first, a 61-year-old woman told cops a worker installing high-speed Internet at her Caesarea home had exposed himself.

Half an hour later a worker at a Port Perry convenience store said a man had exposed himself while in the store.

In both cases a suspect left the scene in a white van, police said.

On Tuesday police said Tyler Mark, 26, of Pondtail Court in Oshawa has been charged with two counts of indecent exposure.

An investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 905-579-1520, ext. 2674, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
