Three sought in gas bar heist
PICKERING -- Three suspects are being sought following an armed robbery at a Pickering gas bar.
A 17-year-old clerk at the Olco station on Kingston Road near Fairport Road was counting the day's receipts at about 11 p.m. when two men entered the kiosk and demanded the cash, Durham police said.
The suspects, one of whom had a knife, fled on foot with a third accomplice who waited outside the gas bar, police said. The suspects are described as white men who wore ball caps and covered their faces with bandanas.
The clerk wasn't hurt during the heist.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 905-579-1520, ext. 5359, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
