ASHBURN -- Music, movies and stars are coming to a local venue this month.
WindReach Farm, 312 Townline Rd. in Ashburn, is hosting a variety of events throughout the summer including an annual Farm Fair on Saturday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day includes farm demonstrations, wagon rides, crafts, a barbecue and animals to interact with, say organizers, who suggest a $20 donation per car as admission to the event.
Following the fair, on Thursday, July 24, and Thursday, Aug. 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on both days, Ron Cross from Random Acts of Rhythm is leading an interactive hand drum session. The cost is $12 per person.
On Thursday, July 31, people are encouraged to take their picnic dinner and a lawn chair for a 'Movie under the Stars' starting at dusk. The farm will be open at 6 p.m. that day for families to explore the farm. Donations will be accepted upon entrance and refreshments will be on sale during the movie.
