OSHAWA -- Paris is one of the world's great cities, rich in culture and history.
Paris is also a film, writer and director Cedric Klapisch's love letter to the city of lights.
It's next up on Cinefest DURHAM's list, being screened Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Oshawa Cineplex Odeon, 1354 Grandview St. N., Oshawa. French with English subtitles.
Following Paris is Empties, a work by the father-and-son Czech team that gave us the Oscar-winning Kola. In Empties, screenwriter/actor Zdenek Sverak and director Jan Sverak present a comic love story about a man facing old age.
Catch the film at the Oshawa Cineplex Odeon at 7 p.m. on Nov. 11. Czech with English subtitles.
Cinefest DURHAM films are sponsored by the Friends of the Oshawa Library. Tickets are $7, cash only at the door on movie night.
