OSHAWA -- On Aug. 14 you can get your car washed and support a local charity.
Volunteers with the Oshawa Block Parent Association will be washing cars from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Speedy Automotive location at Simcoe Street South and Beatrice Street.
All proceeds from the pay-what-you-can fundraiser go to support Oshawa Block Parents, which advocates for the safety of children and seniors by coordinating pre-screened volunteer families who provide safe refuge in their neighbourhoods.
