Scugog history to be highlighted at heritage evening

Annual gathering Nov. 17 at Utica Memory Hall

UTICA -- The spotlight will shine on Scugog's past later this month when the Township hosts its annual Heritage Evening.

Slated to be held Nov. 17 at the Utica Memory Hall, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., the night will feature special guest speaker Bill Minors, who will discuss the History of Mystery.

The second annual Heritage Scugog Awards will also be handed out and the Scugog Shores Museum's Volunteer of the Year will be honoured.

Guests are also invited to bring their heritage treasure for a show-and-tell of Scugog history.

The Utica Memory Hall is located in Utica, at the corner of Regional Road 21 and Marsh Hill Road.
