Jul 09, 2009 - 11:18 AM

OSHAWA -- Police have identified a man who suddenly died while out for a jog Tuesday in Oshawa.

Foul play is not suspected in the death of the man, who was running on Beatrice Street just west of Ritson Road when he collapsed about 11 a.m., Durham police said. Passersby performed CPR before the man was rushed to hospital in Oshawa, where he was pronounced dead.

The man carried no identification and police on Wednesday issued an appeal for information on him. Police said Thursday the man had been positively identified, but his name was not released.
