Three to play Intercounty Baseball League all-star game Saturday

OSHAWA -- Nick Purdy has been named the Lick's Homeburgers Hero of the Week, while three of his Oshawa Dodgers teammates are off to the Intercounty Baseball League all-star game this weekend.
Purdy won the league's new weekly award based on his efforts in a doubleheader sweep over the Kitchener Panthers last Saturday, when he delivered the winning run in both games with walk-off singles.
In the league's all-star game, which is being played in Brantford Saturday, the Dodgers will be represented by pitcher Greg Byron, infielder Jordan Castaldo and outfielder Kyle Fillier.
The Dodgers are at home against Mississauga tonight at 7:30 p.m. and are in London for a Sunday doubleheader.
